WHAT ARE TABLETOP ROLE-PLAYING GAMES?
Tabletop Role-playing Games are strategic, social, storytelling games. They give players the chance to explore their own creativity and build a fun shared experience with friends. They are, essentially, the world's most intricate board games; but rather than moving pieces around a board, you assume the role of a character, and interact with the other players and the in-game "world" as that character. The world of the game is infinitely flexible, because it is created and managed by an individual who is lovingly called the Game Master (or in the case of Dungeons & Dragons, the Dungeon Master). Learning to play can be easy, especially when you have an experienced Game Master to help: and that’s where I come in!
WHAT GAMES DO I OFFER?
I teach and run sessions of Dungeons & Dragons, the well-known game of epic swords and sorcery. I also offer other popular RPGs such as Call of Cthulhu, Gamma World, Star Wars, World of Darkness, Fiasco, and more.

About Me
As both an educator and a lifelong fan of RPGs, the learning potential of these games has always interested me. At St. John’s University, I wrote my PhD dissertation on the connection between games and the classroom. I’m passionate about working with schools and game-based education in a variety of forms.
